About us
Next Level Coffee was founded in 2021 by Dr Marius Kütemeyer, Dominik Maier and Markus Unger. Their mission is to make coffee at home as good as your favourite coffee shop – something that until now has only been possible with drip coffeemakers and barista skills. At its core, the young company is a data-driven coffee tech company with an intelligent software platform with scalable data analysis tools that also use artificial intelligence algorithms. Next Level Coffee is currently launching the innovative nunc. coffee concept on the German market, centred around a completely new technological portafilter espresso machine with a separate networked grinder. At the heart of this ecosystem is the customer and their user experience (UX), which brings together the three disciplines of coffee, data and technology.

nunc. is a powerful, innovative coffee concept built around a completely new technological portafilter espresso machine and connected grinder. nunc. is an ecosystem that seamlessly combines innovative technology with digital tools and platforms, coffee expertise and data-driven knowledge about customers and consumers. The unique customer experience is based on a successful mix of hardware, software and user experience. This extends from the machine to the app, the curated coffee, the flavour differentiation, the convenient and intelligent coffee delivery, the automatic and intelligent adaptation of the machine to the type of coffee via the NFC chip and, in the background, to all the trades involved in coffee production, processing and roasting. For the user, this means a guarantee of success - without any prior barista knowledge. At the same time, the revolutionary concept covers the entire value chain, from the close supply relationship with certified coffee farmers who adhere to strict environmental and social standards, to selected coffee roasters who guarantee the quality of the coffee varieties exclusively curated by nunc. Thanks to the digital network, customers will receive absolute transparency from farm to cup. nunc. will be available for online pre-order from December 2023, production has already started in Schaffhausen and delivery is planned for autumn 2024.
