Why We Love the Sports Community

(A four-part recap – with plenty of caffeine and even more team spirit)

Over the past few weeks, one thing became crystal clear to us (again): coffee is more than just a drink. It’s connection. It’s an invitation. A starting point.

And that’s exactly why we feel so at home in the sports community.

Because here – just like in our world – it’s all about precision and technique. About routines that work. About tools that support. And above all: about people who share their passion.

Rise & Rave – Where a Community Run Meets Rave Spirit

It all started in Berlin. Together with Run & Rave Berlin and Oatly, we kicked off Rise & Rave – a morning community run, followed by a rave and a breakfast that got both hearts and minds moving. What we loved most? The energy. The openness. The lightness.

And of course: the line in front of our coffee machine.

That’s when it became clear: coffee belongs in the warm-up – just as much as in the cool-down. And in between: meaningful conversations and new connections.

POWWOW Sports Event – Coffee for Champions

Just a few days later, we brought our mobile nunc. bar to the POWWOW Sports Event. More than 70 athletes – from world champions and Olympians to rising stars – came together to train, exchange ideas and grow.

And in between it all? Coffee from nunc. Served at exactly the right moment – when clarity was needed, when focus was key, or simply when it was time to arrive and breathe.

We were deeply inspired by the discipline, humility, and team spirit we saw in this community. And by the appreciation for small breaks, real conversations – and damn good coffee.

Mallorca Ride – Two Wheels, One Mission

Together with Ryzon and Sa Mola 13, we hit the road – for a community bike ride across Mallorca. The sun was kind, the route was demanding, and the atmosphere? Absolutely right.

Again, coffee ran like a golden thread through it all: at the start, at every stop, and at the finish line. Not just as a caffeine boost, but as a ritual.

As a moment to pause. To recharge – body and mind.

FIBO 2025 – Coffee at the World’s Largest Fitness Expo

The grand finale: FIBO in Cologne. Four days, 140,000 visitors, over 900 exhibitors – and right in the middle: our nunc. bar at the BLACKROLL booth.

What we served? Coffee, of course. But honestly, it was more than that.

We served a vibe. An invitation to slow down. To take a breath. To taste. To talk – about precision, pleasure, performance, tools and technology that make life just a little smarter.

Because that’s what connects us with the sports world:

We believe in smart routines. In tools that don’t get in the way, but help us get better.

In the dance between activation and recovery. And in the power of good rituals – whether at the gym, on the road, or in your kitchen at home.

Our conclusion? Coffee is a team player.

It doesn’t need the spotlight – but it creates space. For conversation. For connection. For community.
